Alison is a new graduate Occupational Therapist with a background in Mental Health and Community Health Services. She completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at the Australian National University, before undertaking the Master of Occupational Therapy course at the University of Canberra. As part of her studies, Alison completed her final practice education with The Rehabilitation Specialists in 2020. During this time she was able to gain experience working in both the occupational rehab and NDIS space.
Alison is passionate about mental health and strives to apply her knowledge from her previous degrees to help clients achieve their occupational goals. Alison endeavours to maintain a client-centred approach to therapy, by encouraging clients to set meaningful and personally relevant goals. Alison is eager to develop her knowledge and skills regarding both physical and mental health whilst working within the NDIS space.
