Kara is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from Australian Catholic University (ACU) with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Kara has been working with the Rehabilitation Specialists since January 2021.

Kara has experience working with a range of individuals with both physical and psychosocial disabilities. Kara has worked with clients to provide capacity building and therapy-based intervention, along with assistive technology options such as wheelchair prescription, recliner chairs, hoists, low-risk low-cost adaptive technology, and housing solutions such as SIL and SDA applications. Kara also has experience working within the Deaf and hard of hearing community, a sector closely connected with The Rehabilitation Specialists.

Kara is eager to work alongside clients to provide wholistic client centered care to ensure the best outcome is achieved. Kara strives to ensure clients can achieve their goals, maximise participation and independence in everyday life in areas that are meaningful and relevant to the individual.
