Tina Taseska – NDIS Clinical OT / Team Leader – Deaf, Hard of Hearing & Assistive TechnologyB. Sports and Exercise Science & B. Human Nutrition, M. Occupational Therapy. Cert II, III, IV in Auslan.

Tina attained a Bachelor in Sports and Exercise Science and Human Nutrition before completing a Master of Occupational Therapy at the University of Canberra. As part of her studies, Tina completed her Occupational Therapy practice education with The Rehabilitation Specialists and has since come on board in the NDIS space. She has a strong customer service background, a keen interest in Deaf Community and Culture and Neurological rehabilitation and believes in a holistic, multidisciplinary and client centred approach.

Over the last 3 years, Tina has worked closely with individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing and has a strong understanding and awareness of their assistive technology and support needs. Tina is now the Team Leader for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Assistive Technology at The Rehabilitation Specialists and presents regular webinars to teach other OTs around Australia on how to work in this space and with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals. She is also involved in her local Deaf Community and has successfully completed her Cert II, III and IV in Auslan and is currently studying her Diploma of Auslan.

Tina strives towards enabling clients to get the most out of their everyday lives, through her understanding of the body and related health conditions and their impact on an individual’s independence and daily function. She is passionate about preventative health, advocating for her clients and believes that it is never too late for someone to start working towards their goals.
