Workplace assessments are completed at a client’s workplace and can be performed for both physical and psychological injuries and may consist of:
Job task analysis: an assessment of a client’s pre-injury duties and available suitable duties
Workplace assessment: an on-site assessment of a client performing their pre-injury duties
Functional assessment (physical injuries): an objective measurement of a client’s current capacity against specific work demands.
The workplace assessment and task analysis are always included in an Initial Needs Assessment but can also be completed as required at any time in the rehabilitation process.
