Effectively engaging with GPs: a workshop for Case Managers and HR Professionals

General Practitioners (GPs) are imperative to an injured employee’s experience and return to work outcome. They are also often the employee’s first point of contact. In recent years, the workplace rehabilitation industry has placed a greater emphasis on working more closely and collaboratively with GPs in order to achieve safe and sustainable rehabilitation and return to work outcomes for injured and ill employees. This interactive training, delivered in the form of a workshop, is the ideal platform for new and experienced Case Managers and HR Professionals to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to more effectively engage with GPs and Specialists and achieve return to work outcomes.

Our approach:

• Delivered to a group of up to 6 employees We recommend keeping the group size small for maximum benefit from the role plays and interactive discussions.
(We are able to deliver more than one session if there are greater than 6 participants and would be happy to discuss this further if required.)

• Can be delivered as a 2 hour or 4 hour workshop depending on the level of detail required.

• Training can be tailored at a level that assumes no prior or limited case management and return to work experience or directed at experienced Case Managers.

• A Senior Consultant in our team would deliver the training in a workshop style format with a focus on participant interaction.
