Learn about the most frequent types of mental illness that present in the workplace, how to recognise them and how to provide effective and appropriate support to assist employees to remain engaged and to be productive and present members of the workplace. This session is for managers, case managers, HR officers, WHS officers, and rehabilitation providers, and gives them the skills and knowledge to confidently engage employees who are struggling before it becomes hard to manage.

Cost:
The workshops are $200 +GST per session or $325 +GST to attend both sessions and places are strictly limited to 15 participants per session. Afternoon Tea provided. Maximum 15 participants.

About the Trainer:

John Littleton is an organisational psychologist with a Graduate Diploma of Applied Psychology, and a Bachelor of Psychology and Sociology. Throughout his career John has successfully treated patients suffering depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, occupational stress, low self-esteem, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief and loss and anger management, through a combination of Cognitive Behavioural and Acceptance Commitment Therapies, and is proficient in performing psychometric assessments.

John has worked for over 12 years as an organisational psychologist, providing fitness for duty and psychological capacity assessments for insurance companies and employers in the public and private sector. John is also an experienced public speaker and is passionate about sharing his experience and knowledge with others.

The Rehabilitation Specialists are excited to be able to collaborate with John to deliver a series of workshops in Canberra on a range of topics that would be applicable to case managers, employers, insurers and other health professionals.
