Exercise Physiologists
Darcy commenced with The Rehabilitation Specialists in February 2022 and has hit the ground running as one of our Exercise Physiologists. Darcy is ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist and works across both the workplace rehabilitation and the NDIS space. Darcy graduated University of Canberra in 2018 with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation and worked as a clinical Exercise Physiologist between graduating and commencing with The Rehabilitation Specialists. Darcy has experience working with clients with musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular conditions. Darcy is always helping others with alternate vocabulary to use in their reports, or different exercises for their programs, and assisting with assessments and reports where required.
Darcy is most passionate about assisting her clients to see an outcome regardless of their chronic conditions or injuries. Darcy enjoys working across both spaces working with a variety of people with varying requirements. Since beginning with The Rehabilitation Specialists, Darcy has been looking for new ways to grow her skillset across both spaces to ensure she is consistently excelling in her role.

• Efficient communication skills with all treating parties• Client relations and repour• Creativity and problem-solving skills in complex musculoskeletal injuries and disabilities• Musculoskeletal knowledge and intervention requirements• Pathophysiology of extensive disabilities and in which exercise can be used to assist in management and/or treatment

• A wide range of disabilities within the NDIS client base, working towards achieving personalized specific goals to assist in independence building, achieving an overall greater quality of life• Advanced musculosketal rehabilitation with a range of injuries• Rehabilitation program development and monitoring for a wide range of complex medical issues, injuries and psychosocial barrier• Workstation assessments
