Getting to know you – Kaylene Knox

The Rehabilitation Specialists are so pleased to have Kaylene join our team. Kaylene was one of our very first customers when The Rehab Specialists commenced over 5 years ago we have a history of achieving great outcomes together and working collaboratively. Kaylene has extensive knowledge of the Comcare scheme, is an Occupational Therapist by background and has most recently worked in a HR role. Welcome aboard Kaylene!

1. How long have you been working as a rehabilitation consultant?
   I have worked as a rehabilitation consultant in the past (amongstother roles) for approximately 13 years

 

2. What do you enjoy most about working with The Rehabilitation Specialists?
   A great team environment – hard working, supportive and highly skilled group of people

 

3. What is your greatest accomplishment?
   In my personal life it is bringing up two wonderful childrenIn my working life there have been a few accomplishments I have been proud of. Most recently whilst working at Comcare, it was developing and facilitating a series of workshops on early intervention for Managers and receiving an award from the Comcare CEO.

 

4. What do you do to relax?
   I read and when I can I love to relax at the beach – swim and snorkel

 

5. Where was your last holiday and what was a memorable moment?
   To Thailand (near Phuket) – riding an elephant for the first time. Such beautiful creatures!

 

6. Any hidden talents?
   Not really – I can hold my own with younger team mates at turbo touch football which we play at boot camp.

 

7. What sports team do you support?
   No team sports these days – just boot camp 3 or 4 times a week is enough
